Africateam
2019Through Africateam, the A&A Ulmann endowment fund financed the construction of a classroom in the Maures school in Mbour, Senegal.
The Africateam non-profit association was created in 2013 in order to develop projects in the education sector in the Thiès region of Senegal, south of Dakar. Their vision is based on the conviction that all children should benefit equally from the right to education, no matter where they were born.
To this day, 40 children have gained access to education thanks to the sponsorship program created by Africateam, and 5 classrooms have been renovated. Africateam also funds the construction of classrooms in schools where the number of students per class is too high.
Through Africateam, the A&A Ulmann Fund funded the construction of a classroom in the Maures school in Mbour, Senegal. This classroom, which allows the school to host 50 additional students, was built from terracotta bricks made in the region using local soil, laterite. No product imported from abroad was used in this construction.
